How do I delete a group that I admin?
If you're a group admin, you can delete your group by removing all of the members and then yourself, as long as the group creator has left the group or you are the group creator. When no members remain in the group, it will automatically be deleted. Deleting a group is permanent and cannot be reversed.Alternatively, you can pause a group. Learn about the differences between pausing and deleting.To delete a group:
From your Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
Click Members below the name of the group.
Click
next to each member's name and select Remove member.
Click Confirm.
Once you’ve removed the other members, click
Group members aren't notified when you delete a group.
How do I pause a group that I admin?
If you're an admin of a group, you can pause your group if you need a break from maintaining it or if you need time to catch up on tasks such as managing posts or membership. A message will be added to the top of the group explaining that all activity is paused. New posts, comments and reactions are paused for everyone, including admins.
From your Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
Click
below the cover photo.
Select Pause group.
Select a reason for pausing the group, then click Continue. To confirm you want to pause your group, click Continue again.
You will then have the option to write a group announcement about the pause, and schedule when the group will automatically resume.
To change when a group will automatically resume:
From your Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group. If you don't see Groups, click See More.
Click Edit below the cover photo, then adjust the date and time and click Confirm.
To resume a group:
From your Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
Click Resume below the cover photo, then click Confirm.
When a group is paused, members can still:
Delete their existing posts or comments.
Access their information.
Leave the group.
How do I access my group’s QR code to help people find my group?
Admins can only access the group QR code.
Group admins can share a QR code to help others easily find their group. Anyone who scans the QR code will see the group's About page and can then request to join or participate.To access the group QR code if you’re an admin:
From your Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
Click
at the top right of your group.
Select Share, then Share via QR Code.
Copy the code to your clipboard or download it.
Share the QR code wherever you’d like, such as a group post or an advertisement.
Note:
Only admins can access the group QR code to share it.
Admins can only access the group QR code from a computer.
Group QR codes aren’t available for private hidden groups.
How do I create a chat group?
Chat is only available on iPhone and Android for now.Chats are a way to have real-time conversations in your group. Admins can delete any chat in the group. Group members can only delete their own chats.To create a chat:
Open the app on your iOS or Android device.
Tap Rooms and Chats.
Tap Create New and then select Create Chat.
Enter a chat name and an optional description and then tap Create.
To delete a chat:
Open the app on your iOS or Android device.
Tap Rooms and Chats.
Next to the name of the chat you want to delete, tap Chat.

and select Delete chat.
